Skyrim era fans will eat anything from mediocre TES series, even with Bethesda launcher. Todd Howard will flush some water in fans ears and Bethesda will launch TES 6 as game service with microtransactions and "hardcore RPG fans" will be happy. Nobody will remember Fallout 76 fail after couple of months. But they will buy these games and those games publishers profits only increase. They will cry about microtransactions and loot box gambling, they will cry about bugs and early access quality-level content, they will cry about the same boring annual reskinned gameplay. They even could stop funding greatest trolling ever - Star Citizen.īut people do.
If majority of gaming audiences would be so smart, then no one would buy annual Call of Duty, annual Assassin's Creed, trash like PUBG etc. I will even boycott TES 6 and I'm sure many others would too.
